Eir's Gift

Lost in the wilderness
I found solace in my solitude.
Bound to the roots of my mother.
Miles of dirt beneath my toes
Running thru the pines.
I caught Pan’s sins in his smile.
Eir didn’t say a word
She jusst cheered on

My memories scattered
On the forest floor
Sharsd of time, ripes my flesh
With every single step

Chaos, shadoes the goodness of life
The pain of the past
Enveloped in the fires remains
Imprinted in the mind

A lasting impression
But she says “Don’t Fret”
I will heal you with my love
But time tells another story
I became invulnerable to it’s desires
Malleable in it’s interpretations

Much like a child, I yearned for it most
No father to care for me
A mother who did all she could
Graceful and broken yet alive
Thor roars against the winds
That break my joy
And with him, I scream
For the love of eIR
Mother of healing
Bringer of life and death.
I never prayed but whisers fill my ears
With answers I never asked for.
Stepping between the trees.
Embracing her sweet scent.

A simple moment.
Nothing better.
Entranced in her love

The Valkaries call me home.
One by one. The fates sing my name
I am power. I am life.
I am what the Gods allow
For they are with me
And I. with them

A broken child
Just trying to find her way
Before Ragnarok’s return.
